Everything this app stores lives in this browser on this device, under its own name prefix. A backup is a copy of your recorded project states that you control.

Importing merges by id, so re-importing the same file changes nothing and an older backup can never delete newer records.

A backup carries recorded project states only. Your private ChatGPT and Claude links, unsaved edits, this device's preferences, which record each project shows and the status fetched from repositories stay on this device: they are never written to the file, and importing never changes them.
